Queridos amigos y amigas:
Como todos sabeis, el programa de intercambios ofrece a los jóvenes participantes la oportunidad de aprender un idioma, descubrir otras culturas y convertirse en ciudadanos del mundo.
En palabras de nuestro Gobernador del Distrito 2201 de Rotary Internatjonal, Luis Gómez-Ojero Martínez, “la génesis de la Paz se forja en la amistad entre los jóvenes de todos los Países del mundo, que son los líderes del mañana”
Precisamente por eso, muchos de nuestros clubs rotarios de nuestro Distrito 2201 patrocinan Intercambios de Jóvenes para escolares de 15 a 19 años eligiendo destinos entre más de 100 países.
El Intercambio de Jóvenes de Rotary inspira a los jóvenes líderes a servir como catalizadores de la PAZ y la JUSTICIA SOCIAL en sus comunidades locales y en todo el mundo, mucho después de la conclusión de sus intercambios.
Este programa es posible gracias a la dedicación, el liderazgo y la pasión de decenas de miles de voluntarios, tanto rotarios como no rotarios, que hacen que este programa único tenga tanto éxito.
Nuestra nueva Presidente del Comité Distrital de Intercambios, Paula Rapallo, del Rotary Club de Valladolid, ha organizado recientemente, en Ávila, con todas las integrantes de su equipo, el primer Servicio de Orientación de Intercambios, en el que ha participado todo el equipo de intercambios y que ha sido un rotundo éxito.
Paula Rapallo nos transmite su ilusión y compromiso, así como la de todo su equipo, con una breve carta y una fotografías que hablan por sí solas:
“Durante el fin de semana del 4 al 6 de octubre el Comité de Intercambios del distrito 2201 hemos podido ya realizar la primera orientación de los estudiantes que han venido a España con el programa de intercambios este curso 2024-2025.
Hemos podido juntarnos en Ávila para pasar un fin de semana lleno de convivencia y formación y podemos decir que estos chicos vienen a disfrutar del año y meterse de lleno en la vida en España.
Hemos podido compartir estos días con estudiantes de todos los puntos del mundo como: Nueva Zelanda, Australia, Estados Unidos, Filipinas, Taiwan y muchos más.
Han podido aprender las nociones básicas de la cultura española, las normas y directrices a cumplir durante este año y poder conocerse un poco más entre ellos. Además, hemos podido conocer la ciudad, habiendo sacado tiempo para todo como bien muestran las imágenes.
Estamos deseando volver a verles en las siguientes orientaciones. ¡Buen curso!

Through the Youth Exchange of Rotary, we build PEACE in the World
Dear friends:
As you all know, the exchange program offers young participants the opportunity to learn a language, discover other cultures and become citizens of the world.
In the words of our Governor of District 2201 of Rotary International, Luis Gómez-Ojero Martínez, «the genesis of Peace is forged in friendship between young people from all countries of the world, who are the leaders of tomorrow»
Precisely for that reason, many of our Rotary clubs in our District 2201 sponsor Youth Exchanges for schoolchildren from 15 to 19 years old choosing destinations among more than 100 countries.
The Rotary Youth Exchange inspires young leaders to serve as catalysts for PEACE and SOCIAL JUSTICE in their local communities and around the world, long after the conclusion of their exchanges.
This program is made possible thanks to the dedication, leadership and passion of tens of thousands of volunteers, both Rotary and non-Rotarian, who make this unique program so successful.
Our new President of the District Exchange Committee, Paula Rapallo, of the Rotary Club of Valladolid, has recently organised, in Ávila, with all the members of her team, the first Exchange Guidance Service, in which the entire exchange team has participated and which has been a resounding success.
Paula Rapallo tells us her enthusiasm and commitment, as well as that of her entire team, with a brief letter and photographs that speak for themselves:
«During the weekend of October 4 to 6, the Exchange Committee of District 2201 has already been able to carry out the first orientation of the students who have come to Spain with the exchange program this course 2024-2025.
We have been able to get together in Ávila to spend a weekend full of coexistence and training and we can say that these guys come to enjoy the year and get fully into life in Spain.
We have been able to share these days with students from all over the world such as: New Zealand, Australia, the United States, the Philippines, Taiwan and many more.
They have been able to learn the basics of Spanish culture, the rules and guidelines to be complied with during this year and be able to get to know each other a little more. In addition, we have been able to get to know the city, having made time for everything as the images show.
